剧情简介: It's been months since the meteor incident and P.I. Jake Boone has already been completely forgotten since nobody believes his version of the story about the events from the first game. He's now lying low in Twin Town, the only surviving metropolis, sharing a houseboat with his friend and former hovercraft cab driver Elvis, a die hard fan of The King. One night the two stumble upon the body of a murdered scientist and are immediately arrested and framed for the murder. They're sent to die at sea, but they manage to get to a desert island, where they save a semi-sane marooned scientist, who explains that everyone involved with a mysterious science project known as Frozen Eternity are winding up dead. If completed, the project might save Earth, but the most powerful man in Twin Town and villain from the first game, Wong, has full control over the project. The mad scientist gives Jake and Elvis an ultimatum - Elvis must steal the project and bring it back to the island or the scientist will kill Jake within a week. To pull this off, Elvis will need help, so he first tries to find Tara, who's been missing since the end of the first game. Luckily, Jake's female PDA A.I. Mel agrees to help him. The game is an FMV point and click adventure. All dialogue is dubbed into English. The acting is notoriously bad and over the top to fit the game's silly and darkly comedic tone. The player controls both Elvis and later Tara. Unlike the original, the game has no time limits. The levels of nudity in the game are much lower than in its predecessor and most of it is not simple stock footage. The game can easily become unwinnable since some portions of the game can not be accessed twice. Days of Oblivion franchise was meant to be a trilogy, but the third game was never made.
