  • Plot: This is Gérard Depardieu's 5th film and I think he turned just because he needed money. The plot is ridiculous and is hard to watch in our time. Maybe it was a success in those days but I had a hard time to watch some of the episodes. Depardieu plays a nice reporter who in the end falls in love with the daughter of a dictator and that's it. Knowing later films of Depardieu, I think I should better forget "Badenberg" and I recommend that you should do the same.
