  • Plot: I thoroughly enjoyed watching Horse Power: Road to the Maclay. It was nice getting to see what the Maclay finals are really like since I did not qualify this year. I loved that Animal Planet chose to show people what showing is really all about. It showed the ups and downs and how hard we work to achieve our goals. Personally, I thought it was a little boring at times because the program stopped to explain a lot of things which is nice for those who don't know anything about showing but for those who do show (which I believe was a majority of the viewers) it was a bit beginner like and made it a little bit boring but it was still fun to watch. I hope that Animal Planet will chose to do a similar type of show but with new riders. It would be nice to see how different it is for those who are not the big names in riding. Those who are not well known we have to work EVEN harder and I think it would be nice for people to see that aspect of it. Overall, I thought it was a great show and I really enjoyed watching it.
