Carl ends up in another dimension, with no memory regarding who he is or how he got there. It turns out that Porter used a spell to make Carl forget something – only Porter didn’t specify that wish, and then unintentionally trapped Carl in another world, where there are only a few things he remembers, and he can’t come back to the real world unless he remembers absolutely everything. Now Porter, Denise and Jane only have a few hours to bring him back and make him remember everything, or he gets stuck in the alternate reality forever.
