Plot: The launch of Japan's first manned spaceflight mission ends in disasterwhen the liquid rocket booster fuel catches on fire soon after afterliftoff and the rocket crashes into the city of Yuigahama, causing manycasualties among residents. The story focuses around Asumi Kamogawa andher mentor (The ghost of astronaut whom she can only see, and calls bythe name Mr. Lion) Asumi's mother was a victim of the rocket crash andended up in a coma for five years which soon after she passed away.Asumi grew up with her father, who is a construction worker.Asumi wantsenter into space school. She soon parts with Mr. Lion and her father,and enters into the Space School, where she meets Fuchuya (herchildhood friend), Shu, Kei and Marika.
