剧情简介: During the Cold War, the daughter of the Prime Minister of an Eastern Bloc country is toying with the idea of defecting to the West. However, after a botched attempt to escape, she is apprehended by the authorities and is subjected to indoctrination in a psychiatric ward. The film is inspired by the defection to the U.S. of Joseph Stalin's daughter, Svetlana Alliluyeva.
