  • Plot: "It's against the law to choke any woman not your wife...."This is an odd short film, as Snub Pollard usually plays such a nice guy...but in this one he is a bit of a crook. And, at times it appears as if he's friends with Marvin Loback...and at others, he betrays his friend. Odd...truly odd.The story begins with a terrific idea for a sight gag...though the trash can bit was terribly executed. The story then consists of Marvin and Snub trying to either get food or money to buy food...and they (especially Snub) resort to all sorts of illegalities to get it. Not surprisingly, soon the police give chase and Snub outwits them again and again.This is an enjoyable film but not especially 'nice'....but that's okay because it is funny and worth seeing.
