Plot: With her gravely-ill piano instructor grandfather on his deathbed and after three months of costly medical care, Mariana's poor family is in a very tight spot. Unable to pay for medicine--let alone pay off a hateful debt of fifteen thousand drachmas--Mariana and her mother, who is utterly unprotected before the relentless court enforcement officer and his helpers, can only pray for a miracle to save them.
