Plot: Something Weird has issued a 31-minute version of THE PUSSY HUNTERS on Vol. 141 of its Dragon Art Theatre scenes. Film apparently started off life as feature-length, with several scenes clearly missing from the extant edition.Corny premise has two husbands out on a hunting trip, with their car broken down -engine trouble. Back home wifeys Andy Bellamy and Becky Sharpe while away the afternoon in lesbian sex, both personable and enthusiastic. They're introed in the bathtub together, playing around with dildos.As night falls and their better halves haven't made it home yet, they're alerted by a radio newscast that two escaped cons are on the loose -both rapist/murderers. Rick Cassidy and Henry Ferris enter the gals' cabin, with sexy pal Nikki Hess in tow, and take them hostage.Rick takes Nikki into the bedroom to hump her, while Ferris, brandishing a gun, forces the gals to have sex with him. After his money shot on Bellamy, film fragment ends abruptly.Continuity indicates at least a couple of sex scenes are missing, and of course the actors playing the husbands never get involved in the action in this version. In IMDb, the release date is given as 1972, but inexplicably an incorrect year of 1977 is included in its title. Since Nikki Hess's brief career ended in 1972, that is the correct date.Andy's breasts are unflatteringly droopy in this film, and she sports an unbecoming almost-Princess Leia hairdo presaging STAR WARS. Sharpe is beautiful as ever, and the pair (plus Nikki) make the fragment watchable.
