- Plot: Yeah, it was by pure accident that I happened to watch this film one morning on TV. Well, it was made in 1939, so you don't expect anything but the worst. The "special effects" (when Narasimha emerges from a pillar and kills Hiranyakashipu) must have been awesome for a 1939 Tamil viewer. Music is atrocious, surprisingly, because the only redeeming factor of pre-war Tamil films was the music.
