  • Plot: How could anyone not like a nice custard pie? Especially if it is with homemade custard filling and a light, flaky homemade crust. I remember this particular custard pie fondly. I had not even reached my first decade on this plane of existence when the delicious treat came out of the oven, piping hot and filling the house with a decadent aroma the set my olfactory senses on fire. Soon I was devouring this confection whole, paying no heed to the heat exuding around my tongue as my sudden insatiable culinary passion exploded! It was a great pie and Kate Lynch was there too.
