  • Plot: Tom and Ethel, back from their honeymoon, are offered a wonderful opportunity to get rich by Tom's friend, but they need five hundred dollars. Ethel's aunt is a painter, while Tom's uncle is a musician. The young folks secure the desired money by promising each relative that it is intended for the study of their favored art. Later both uncle and aunt decide on the same day to visit their proteges and learn how the study is progressing. Tom assists Ethel in kidnapping a painted who is at work in the yard nearby, and while they lock the protesting artist in a cupboard Ethel prepares to receive aunty. When Tom's uncle arrives the problem is more difficult, but solution is found by bringing a passing organ-grinder into the house and stationing him behind the curtains. Ethel and Tom are getting along famously with their reception, but, of course, Tom's signals to the maestro at the organ get mixed up and Ethel's artist friend escapes from captivity. There are some hot words, but all is smoothed over when Tom's friend arrives with the news that the investment has tripled their money.
