  • Plot: One day in the magistrate's court: a man like all the others judges the accused with a benevolent eye: a masseuse, an unemployed man who makes a living, a mafioso, two fans, thieves, cheaters, swindlers, false testimonials. In the first episode, the praetor has the courage to convict a Corleonese mafia named Rosario Mancuso for negligent injury, as he ran over a citizen with his car. In the second episode we witness the dispute between the rocker Artemio Chiccaccia with a band in tow and the Neapolitan musician Leonardo De Leonardis, who sings in the classroom a piece that appears to all to be a plagiarism of song. In the third episode, a tax office employee, Rosanna Bianchini, sued the journalist Luisa Pelliccione of the weekly "italian woman", for an article according to which she is a prostitute. The fact is true to the praetor, who applies the law and does not accept the complaint. In the first episode, the praetor has the courage to convict a Corleonese mafia named Rosario Mancuso for negligent injury, as he ran over a citizen with his car. When he goes to the bar for a cognac he is approached by the accused and believes that he is threatening his family. He runs away to alert his wife but, when she arrives at the magistrate's court, the misunderstanding is clear: the mafioso wanted to thank him because the sentence was the alibi he needed in a serious mafia trial. The magistrate finds himself dazed with a yellow envelope in his hand containing the bribe given to him by the mafioso, he does not know what to do and asks the cleaning lady to keep it for him until the end of the hearings. The mafia then declared himself repentant, arguing that the only time he heard the word "Lupara", it was referring to an Italian village. In the second episode we witness the dispute between the rocker Artemio Chiccaccia with a band in tow and the Neapolitan musician Leonardo De Leonardis, who sings in the classroom a piece that appears to all to be a plagiarism of song. The praetor is the most involved in the music and starts singing and dancing. In the future, maestro De Leonardis will sue the Italian state because he claims that Mameli's hymn is actually one of his songs and is demanding reimbursement of the royalties. In the third episode, a tax office employee, Rosanna Bianchini, sued the journalist Luisa Pelliccione of the weekly the woman, for an article according to which she is a prostitute. The fact is true to the praetor, who applies the law and does not accept the complaint. At the end of the hearing, however, he falls in love with Rosanna and, to make her think again about the fact that luck will return to smile at her, he gets rid of the yellow envelope given to him by the mafia, giving it to her. With that money, Rosanna distributes bribes to competition directors, winning even four.
