  • Plot: The American composer Charles Ives was organist/choirmaster in the landmark Presbyterian Church on the Green in Bloomfield, NJ for two years at the turn of the twentieth century. As a music teacher in Bloomfield, I found the film valuable for use in the classroom. Ives was a rather unique individual which came across in his music. I highly recommend the film for use with junior high and high school students. Some interesting discussion can result.
