Plot: Working his fingers to the bone in Germany to provide for his silver-haired father and his young sister in Greece, sadly, the indefatigable worker, Thanasis, learns the hard way that his painstaking efforts were in vain. Now, with his weary father on his deathbed, impecunious Thanasis finds himself back to square one, unable to find a way to return to his hometown. However, by a twist of fate, and a near-death experience, Thanasis will become the new face of an advertising agency, whose money-grubbing director uses strong-arm tactics to force poor Thanasis to promote refrigerators. Will Thanasis discover the intricate plan the manager has woven behind his back?
