Plot: On a dark and rain-soaked night of December, under the piercing and terrible sound of the siren's wail, a desperate woman, Christina, seeks solace at a nearby chapel, on the eve of the full-scale Nazi German invasion in Greece. Only in confession and in compassionate Father Grigoris' open arms may Christina find comfort; however, hers is a horrible crime, and the burden is insufferable.
