Plot: Two best friends and next-door-neighbours--the hard-working Gerasimos, who aspires to be a singer, and idealist Stefanos, who dreams of becoming a painter--are in love with Christina who is living with her mother. But, Christina has already chosen Stefanos, much to her mother's chagrin. Before long, the couple has a beautiful baby girl; however, an unexpected complication and a dangerous illness will shatter Stefanos' dreams, who winds up working as a builder in a construction site.
