Plot: PERIOD OF ATTACHMENT features local cable access TV favorite Robin Byrd doing her XXX thing in a typical case of '70s NYC porn. Eric Edwards and his busty girlfriend, after humping, go off to seek a "last chance", feeling they've missed out on the sexual revolution (I guess they were too busy slaving away as performers in stag loops and porn films to see what all the fuss was about).Joey Silvera, a friend of Eric's gives him a girl's phone number: when she arrives she gets naked and blows Eric immediately - he doesn't know what hit him. Meanwhile wifey picks up a Black guy and they hump, with odd wrinkle of her eating while having sex. Another oddity is the casting of a semi-plumper (Clea Carson) in the lead role here.Edwards has anal sex, and the punchline is that he has humped his best friend's wife - a concept for which he is too old-fashioned to go along with (the friend was OK with the idea in the first place). His wife has become a swinger, now posing for nude photographs, leading to a lesbian sex scene with Robin Byrd.Ultimately Eric and his wife get back together for a sort-of romantic ending, spoiled by padding of showing highlights of previous sex scenes over again.
