Plot: saw this movie in 1995 at a festival, and it's one of the films i'd dream to see again one day in a theatre. i don't remember too much of the plot - a group of friends gets involved by coincidence in some obscure yakuza conspiracy, all of them betraying each other and most of them getting killed in the end. but it's mostly a very atmospheric film, where the caracters get drowned by the suffocating climate of decay, vanishing in the shadows of the metropolis Taipeh. pretty good actors, and a continuously growing tension which reminded me some of the best Polanski films (see Frantic).
