Plot: Comedian Heinz Erhardt contributes his usual charm and wit to this standard format "summer holiday" by the dozen comedy. He is the only real feature of this film, but a typical Heinz Erhardt vehicle it is not as in about 1/3 of the film he is not present at all. Without him the film, aimed at Germans who could not yet afford a holiday abroad, would have been hardly worth watching.Average if not dull direction and a script with no surprises make this film into nothing special; the best thing that can be said about the script that it at least has a couple of funny verbal jokes for Erhardt (or did he improvise?). The film includes a couple of mediocre songs, the usual gathering of not so interesting teenagers (Corny Collins is nice though) and the unavoidable calf-loves. Teneriffa makes a nice background.
