Plot: A robber being escorted to prison by a deputy sheriff is aided in an escape by his brother who exchanges gunfire with the deputy. The brother and deputy both die, and the robber is accused in absentia with murder. He tries to start a new life in a border town near Mexico, but his past catches up with him.
