- Plot: Gabby Hayes (George "Gabby" Hayes), has been telling Buzzy Culver (Robert 'Buzzy" Henry), grandson of Gabby's friend Cactus Jim Culver (Burr Caruth), of the fabulous deeds he and Marshal Wild Bill Elliott (Bill Elliott) used to face. Buzzy meets Wild Bill and brings Gabby face to face, but Wild Bill doesn't expose the old faker. Cactus Jin is later knifed and killed in a set-up brawl, and Steve Nichols, crooked governor of the territory, has Bill accused of the crime. Bill barely escapes a lynch-mob headed by Cactus Jim's son John Culver (Fred Kohler Jr.) Bill convinces a visiting federal Judge Richards (Forbes Murray) of the governor's malfeasance of office, but the judge is murdered and Bill is again accused of murder. Edith Richards (Anne Jeffreys), the judge's daughter, posts a $5,000 reward poster for Bill.
