Plot: The Ivory is about a family whose friend visits from far off lands and leaves an ivory horn that is said to grant three wishes. The friend's story is a little too much and it hits on many different metaphysical areas for a film about how choices can come back to bite you. Some pet cemetery stuff going on as the new owners of the horn ask for money and the money turns winds up being recompense for their son's death. Then they wish for the son to come back to life and he starts knocking on the door. Why they didn't wish for him to come back as he was before he died, I'll never know. They did some strange editing during an argument where the camera kept flipping between the same two scenes about 20 times, way too much. The acting was good and the dialog was good a solid B+ film.
