Plot: Saint Thomas school picnic is set for Konkan visit when their bus breaks down at night in heavy rains Appa Rane asks everyone to take shelter in his house the students see a frame of Sane Guruji whom Appa worships as God.The teenagers believe that Sane Guruji was just a emotional writer until Appa briefs about him to the kids.Sane Guruji was very close to his mother Yashodabai but he had to stay away from his family to complete his education and would visit the family on Fridays.Guruji's family was financially weak and he completed his education by begging for alms but never let his family know he was distressed after his mother passed away due to plague and couldn't meet her.Guruji completes his MA with blessings of his dead mother and takes job of a teacher in school where he taught students with love and care.The country was under British rule and Guruji urged youngsters to fight against them while serving a jail term he started writing and became a popular writer.This encounter with Appa telling about Guruji has a great impact on the kids.
