Plot: Runestone, a 5 year episodic series, surrounds around a 9th century Viking lord and his people, who abandon their duties and homeland to sail off in search of kinsmen that were presumed to have died in an ill-fated expedition to new lands. Accusations of treachery are made by a rival lord, and he and his men-at-arms follow closely behind in a stolen long ship, determined to bring the oath breaker to justice. The journey is difficult, and upon landfall in the new world, the Norsemen are surrounded by a lush but dangerous environment populated with indigenous natives who are equally as strong and intelligent, and something even more deadly that lurks in the shadows.
