Plot: Dutch pre-teen Finn is lovingly raised by his father, a grim lonely Carpenter, ever since his mother died on Christmas Eve giving birth to him. One thing father forbids Finn bluntly is learning to play an instrument, having given up his own musical ambitions when widowed.
