In 'Pretending' we discover how a soon-to-be groom travels back in time, exposing his affairs. 'The Good Life' tells the story of a young man making a gruesome discovery about himself. In 'Kill' a wife and mother is making a painful sacrifice by hiding the truth, while 'Birds' is a primaballerina's dark fairy-tail.
