Plot: Set during the bustling '60s era in New York City, Squeaky Business is about a retired man named Dave Brunty who lives in a high-rise apartment with his adorable dog, Allie. Dave is an elderly bachelor, but he is also young at heart and sees Allie as his best friend. However, Allie's playful nature does not always register with Dave, as he is constantly trying to busy himself with his hobbies and work. He has always been a photographer at heart, so much so that he installed his own dark room in his home. One fateful day while sorting through his mail, Dave stumbles upon a perfect opportunity to show off his artistic side: a pet photography contest with cash prizes! Unfortunately, that makes Allie his subject for the contest, but she would much rather play with her favorite squeak toy than be dressed up in silly, homemade costumes. Her excited energy quickly builds with each photograph taken, and soon the hyperactive pooch ends up overturning Dave's apartment! Chaos ensues as Allie quests for her squeak toy, with Dave in hot pursuit and his equipment in danger of being put out of commission. His opportunity to enter the contest is put in jeopardy, but a lesson is ultimately learned: will Dave realize that playing can be more valuable than working?
