  • Plot: Clarence Kelly, a young business man, arrives home one night with a terrible jag on. His wife scolds him severely and Clarence leaves in a huff and resolves to go to a Turkish bath to spend the night. He gathers a bunch of his chums and they all agree to the proposition and figure out a good time. During the night Kelly's office building is burned down and Mollie, reading of the fire in the morning paper, hurries to the scene, where she hears that Clarence has probably perished. Her agony is awful and returning home, she immediately proceeds to adopt mourning. She drapes her beloved husband's picture with black ribbon, and digging out all the black articles of dress she can And, proceeds to make herself up as near like a widow as possible. Clarence, having spent a glorious night with his friends at the bath, pulls himself together and goes home to make up with wifey. The evidence of mourning startles him, and when Mollie sees him enter she thinks that it is a ghost. Explanations follow and the cloud of mourning passes away and gives place to the sunshine of a happy future, as Clarence resolves "Never again."
