Araki Kae was born on 6th November, 1966 in Osaka, Japan. She is a voice actress (seiyuu) by profession, and is freelance as of 2016. She formerly went under the name 荒木香恵 (same reading).

After standing in for Mitsuishi Kotono (the voice of Usagi Tsukino in the series Sailor Moon) when Mitsuishi had appendicitis, Araki originated the role of Chibiusa in the same series soon after. While training at a seiyuu school, Araki acted as senpai to fellow seiyuu Yoshida Konami, and they have maintained a close relationship since that time.
