Filipino actor Jake Macapagal has over 35 years of experience taking lead roles in various stage and film productions. In 2013, he starred in the BAFTA-nominated film Metro Manila by Sean Ellis. The film won the World Cinema Audience Award at the Sundance Film Festival and Best British Independent Film Award at the BIFAs. For his role of Oscar, Jake was nominated by BIFA for Most Promising Newcomer. After Metro Manila, Jake starred in a number of diverse projects including HBO Asia’s original series Halfworlds, Watch List by Ben Rekhi and The Mosters Without by Randal Kamradt.
